About Sea Stuff
We are a Husband and Wife duo living in Christchurch, New Zealand. Olly loves fishing, and Rachel loves anything creative. Sea Stuff combines both together.
While the Snapper print is by far the most popular print we sell, Olly’s personal favourite is the Blue Cod, while Rachel’s is the Gurnard.
We think it’s pretty neat that we can preserve the essence of our catch by taking a print of it, and then wear it on a t-shirt. We hope others other also think that's pretty awesome and enjoy wearing our original gear.
Sea Stuff’s Story - Ocean to T-Shirt
Our journey began with taking prints of our catch – that’s right, each of the fish used to make our prints has been caught by us.
So how did we do it? Well, we caught some fish, bought some ink, paper and other supplies, set up some newspaper on our dining table, and started printing. Turns out printing fish is harder than you think – we have had a bit of trial and error – but after a few attempts, we managed to get some clean prints. We gave our first lot of prints away to friends and family members for birthday and Christmas presents. They loved them – and that made us start thinking – what else could we do with the prints? could we digitise them? could we put them on t-shirts?
And there you have it, what began as taking prints of our catch, turned into gifts for friends and families and then evolved into Sea Stuff, a local label reflecting passion for fishing and creativity.
What do we want to achieve?
Our mission is to not only create high-quality clothing and apparel for you all to enjoy, but to in-still an appreciation of all 'Sea Stuff’ in all Kiwis.
We are passionate about fishing, and all things outdoors. This passion developed into an awareness that we need to engage in responsible fishing and recreation practices to ensure the bounties of the ocean are maintained for future generations to enjoy. We hope to share that with others.
What’s next?
We started outputting the mighty Blue Cod onto a white t-shirt - that has expanded into us offering 5 different fish prints in a variety of different apparel.
Currently we have t-shirts, singlets, fishing tops, hats and caps available. As we keep growing, we are committed to expanding and improving our product range. Next up is some hoodies for the cooler months – watch this space.

Your feedback is valued and important to us. We listen and apply it to our brand. Recently, this has seen us expanding our t-shirt range to include sizes 2XL and 3XL in three of our designs. We are committed to expanding our size range
in all of our products and will keep doing this as we re-stock.
